Factory Direct Montreal manufactures and installs windows and doors across the Montreal area in English and French. Its sales, project and service history lived in a legacy CRM the team had outgrown. Megawebvision reconciled 25,124 legacy projects, migrated 20,184 contacts, 9,288 projects, 1,762 service tickets and 264 open opportunities into HighLevel, and built the project-status, product, financial and notes views the office needs to run a job from quote to installation.

Situation
A windows and doors business runs on its project record: the quote, the measurements, the products ordered, the deposit and balance, the installation date, the service ticket afterwards. Factory Direct Montreal had years of that history in a legacy system that could not support the follow-up and reporting the business now needed.
The risk in any migration is not the software. It is the handoff: the moment the team stops trusting the new record and goes back to the old one. The migration had to arrive complete, verified and usable on the first day.
The constraint
This was a conversion and retention constraint dressed as a technology project. Follow-up on quotes, deposit tracking and service after installation all depended on a record the team could read in one place. Until that existed, adding demand would have added chaos.
What was done
The work ran as a governed cutover with read-only reconciliation before and after every step.
- Legacy source reconciled to 25,124 projects before cutover, with the exact count carried in the cutover record.
- Migration into HighLevel: 20,184 contacts, 9,288 projects, 1,762 service tickets and 264 opportunities, verified on August 21, 2026 with a runtime-only reconciliation.
- Custom CRM views built for the office: project status, products with calendar and balance due, financials and notes, released between September 3 and September 4, 2026.
- A CHIEF daily executive brief that reads lead intake, Google Business Profile actions and site health, so leadership sees the week without opening the CRM.
- Live website corrections in both languages on September 12: promotion dates, rebate wording, hreflang and a broken phone link, applied over a verified SSH path.
Readout
The record arrived whole. The team works from the new CRM with its full history and the views it asked for.
Around it, the demand side held and improved: Google Business Profile actions rose from 773 in July to 901 in August, a 16.6 percent increase, on a 4.5-star profile with 470 reviews. Over the first six days of September the profile produced 46 calls, 106 website clicks and 17 direction requests. Search Console shows 940 clicks from 111,048 impressions in the trailing 28 days, and GA4 shows 2,531 sessions with a 68.4 percent engagement rate.
Weekly lead intake in the same period stayed steady at 47 to 54 leads a week, which is the point: the migration did not cost the business a week of demand.
What leadership could decide next
With every quote and every installation in one record, the next decision is response time and follow-up rules by stage, which is now measurable from the CRM's own timestamps.
